Welcome to Cheshire Cabs. By booking a ride, using our services, or accessing our website (cheshirecabs.com), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing a booking.

1. Definitions

  • “Company” / “We” / “Us”: Refers to Cheshire Cabs.

  • “Customer” / “You”: Refers to any individual or organisation booking or using our services.

  • “Driver”: A licensed operator contracted or employed by Cheshire Cabs.

  • “Booking”: A confirmed reservation for transportation arranged with Cheshire Cabs.

2. Bookings

  • Bookings can be made online, via phone, WhatsApp, or email.

  • All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or SMS.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate pickup/drop-off addresses, contact numbers, passenger count, and any special requirements.

3. Fares & Payments

  • All fares are quoted in advance and are fixed based on the information provided.

  • Prices include standard luggage handling, waiting time (where stated), and any applicable tolls or charges.

  • We accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash (where agreed in advance).

  • Full payment is due before or at the time of travel unless a corporate account has been arranged.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Standard bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 6 hours before pickup.

  • Long-distance or executive bookings must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a full fare charge.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 5–7 business days.

5. Delays & Waiting Time

  • We monitor flight arrivals and adjust pickup times accordingly at no extra charge.

  • For all other journeys, up to 10 minutes of waiting time is included in the fare.

  • Additional waiting time may be charged per minute and added to your final fare unless agreed otherwise.

  • We are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, road closures, accidents).

6. Passenger Conduct

  • Passengers must wear seat belts at all times.

  • No smoking, vaping, or consumption of alcohol is permitted in any vehicle.

  • Any passenger causing damage to the vehicle, or acting in a threatening or abusive manner, will be refused service and may be held liable for repair costs or legal action.

7. Luggage & Belongings

  • Luggage should not exceed the space agreed upon at booking.

  • Cheshire Cabs accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings during travel.

  • Any items left behind will be stored securely for up to 30 days. To retrieve lost property, contact info@cheshirecabs.com with your booking reference.

8. Accessibility

  • We offer wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAVs) on request at no extra cost.

  • Please inform us in advance if accessibility support or mobility assistance is required to ensure vehicle availability.

9. Liability

  • We are fully licensed and insured under UK law.

  • While we take every precaution to provide reliable and timely service, Cheshire Cabs is not liable for missed flights, trains, or appointments due to force majeure events (e.g. traffic, weather, road closures).

  • Our liability in any case is limited to the total fare paid.

10. Changes to Bookings

  • Booking amendments can be made free of charge, subject to vehicle and driver availability.

  • Changes should be made at least 24 hours before pickup to avoid disruption or potential fees.

11. Account & Corporate Clients

  • Account holders agree to pay invoices within the agreed billing period (typically 14–30 days).

  • Late payments may result in service suspension and incur additional fees.

  • Business clients may receive itemised reports and journey logs upon request.

12. Website Use

  • All content on cheshirecabs.com is the property of Cheshire Cabs and may not be copied or reused without permission.

  • By using the site, you agree not to misuse our booking platform or submit fraudulent information.

13. Privacy

  • Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and complies with UK GDPR regulations.

  • We never sell your data and only share it when necessary to complete a booking or comply with the law.

14. Complaints

If you’re unhappy with our service, please contact info@cheshirecabs.com within 7 days of your journey. We aim to resolve complaints within 48 hours.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
